The fact-finding mission to Germany will focus on energy efficiency in buildings and will take place from March 27 to March 30, 2017 in the Greater Frankfurt area. The trip is part of the “Energy Solutions – Made in Germany” initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and is organized by energiewaechter GmbH and the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. in New York.
Join us on this 4-day trip to Frankfurt and Darmstadt and learn about innovative technologies in the field of energy efficiency in buildings and passive house. You will have the opportunity to connect with local industry experts and professionals. The trip includes visits of the following companies, organizations and reference projects:

- Technical University (TU) Darmstadt
- Passive House Institute
- "The Cube" - Headquarters of Deutsche Börse by Jürgen Engel Architects

The fact-finding mission targets US architects, engineers, real estate planner and developer, building manager, companies and professionals in the energy and energy efficiency sector, NGOs and public authorities. Group size: 10-15 participants
The trip is free to attend (sponsored by the Energy Efficiency Export Initiative) but participants will have to cover their own travel costs (flights, accommodation, meals). The German American Chamber of Commerce will offer a meal package and special rates at a local hotel in Frankfurt and can help with travel arrangements.

Since 2011 energiewaechter GmbH has organized more than ten fact finding-missions by order of the Feral Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in the framework of Export Initiatives for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies and of the foreign market entry program. Their task, delegated to energiewaechter by the BMWi, was to plan, organize, run and evaluate those events. Selecting interested participants from invited countries we cooperated with the respective Foreign German Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
