About the Speaker: Kristin Maeckel

Kristin is a partner in Aprio’s Tax practice. She focuses on consulting and U.S. tax compliance for multi-national corporations in the manufacturing, distribution and services industries, as well as assisting clients in implementing the requirements of ASC 740 (former FAS 109 and FIN48). Kristin specializes in working with foreign companies that have subsidiaries in the U.S., including many startup firms, to provide tax and accounting solutions. In addition, Kristin works with the expatriates of Aprio clients to help them with their U.S. tax matters after moving to the U.S. Kristin is a native German speaker and is also fluent in French.
